Joe Zhao

Joe Zhao has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Joe is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Hidden Road since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Robinhood as a Software Engineer from July 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Robinhood, Joe worked as an iPhone Embedded Systems Software Intern at Apple from May 2019 to August 2019. Joe also gained experience as a Software Systems Engineering Intern at E*TRADE in June 2018 to August 2018. Joe has a strong academic background as well, having served as a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses at Carnegie Mellon University. Joe was a Teaching Assistant for the course 18-240, where they taught logical design and SystemVerilog. Joe also held the position of Undergraduate Researcher in the Biorobotics lab, working on an embedded vision system. Additionally, Joe was a Teaching Assistant for the highly ranked computer science course 15-112, where they taught Python and led review lectures and small group sessions.
