Joseph Buthorn

Joseph Buthorn serves as Vice Chairman and Chief Risk Officer at Hidden Road since February 2019. Prior experience includes Global Head of Clearing Solutions for EBSBrokertec at NEX Group plc from August 2015 to August 2018, and Head of OTC Derivatives Clearing, Futures Clearing, FXPB, and Equity PB Risk Management for the Americas at BNP Paribas from June 2009 to August 2015. Joseph also held the position of Head of FX Prime Brokerage and Hedge Fund Marketing for the Americas at AIG Financial Products from July 2002 to April 2009. Earlier roles include Head of Strategy, Marketing, and Product Development at Traiana, Head of FX Prime Brokerage at Deutsche Bank, and Head of FX Prime Brokerage at Bankers Trust. Joseph Buthorn earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Rutgers University.
