Clark Kromenaker

Principal Engineer

Clark Kromenaker is a seasoned software engineer and educator with extensive experience in game development. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Lead Programmer at Hidden Variable Studios since February 2011, Clark has led the technical development of the mobile fighting game Skullgirls and spearheaded projects such as the asynchronous multiplayer game Tic Tactics and the porting of Threes to multiple platforms. Additionally, Clark has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern California since January 2017, teaching video game programming. Prior roles at USC include Unity Lab Instructor, where curriculum development and student support were central duties, and Help Desk Technician, where technical support for health center employees was provided. Clark holds a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Game Development from the University of Southern California.
