Andrew Wei

Andrew Wei is currently a Tech Lead at CoSell. Prior to that, they were a Security Engineer at Affirm, Inc. from February 2018 to October 2020. While at Affirm, they built the security monitoring stack on ELK stack and managed PCI compliance of AWS infrastructure. Prior to that, they were a Cyber Intelligence Manager with the US Army from September 2011 to February 2018. In that role, they were the technical lead for a team of 5 analysts and conducted threat modeling, network analysis, security research, and intel reporting through the use of network analysis tools (nmap, Wireshark) and open-source intelligence. Andrew has experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, SaltStack, Python, and bash.

Andrew Wei has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Andrew Wei is certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, (ISC)² in CISSP, EC-Council in Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA in Network+, Offensive Security in OSCP, and CompTIA in Security+.

They are on a team with Gabriel Givigier - Full stack developer, Pedro Borges - Full stack developer, and Hallef Santos - Full stack developer. Their manager is Pete Ryan, Co-founder.
