Software Infrastructure Engineer at High 5 Games

Arun Ramasamy has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Arun began their career as a Research Assistant at Vizualization Lab. SUNY, Stony Brook in 2001, where they worked on volume segmentation problems using 3D mesh models for MRI and CT-Scan volume images. In 2003, Arun joined Bloomberg as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in real-time applications for the Bloomberg Professional service software. Arun also worked with the UI infrastructure team, providing core UI widgets for other teams' applications. In 2010, Arun joined Anatomical Travelogue as a Graphics Engineer, where they developed image processing and volume rendering/visualization tools for medical imaging data. In 2013, they moved to High 5 Games as a Software Infrastructure Engineer, focusing on game development infrastructure and Lua scripting for prototyping and developing casino games. Most recently, Arun has been working at Boston Scientific since 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Arun Ramasamy pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from PSG College of Technology during 1996-2000. Later, they completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University between 2001 and 2003. Additionally, Arun holds a certification in Wrigging and Rendering in MAYA from SVA in New York, though the institution and specific timeline for obtaining this certification are unknown.
