High Atlas Foundation
Errachid Montassir serves as the Ambassador of the International Youth Change Maker at IYCM Organization, focusing on youth participation in climate action since December 2020. Concurrently, Montassir has been a Project Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at the High Atlas Foundation since November 2016, where coordination of volunteers and facilitation of workshops have significantly impacted rural communities. Honored as the "Person of the Year" by Rhamna Province in December 2020 for contributions to development projects and climate change engagement, Montassir has also gained recognition through awards such as the Water and Energy Award and the International Open Eye Award. Experience includes participation as a delegate and panelist at various prestigious events, including the UN Youth Climate Summit and conferences aimed at climate change solutions. Montassir holds a diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from ISMONTIC.

The High Atlas Foundation is a Moroccan association and a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers committed to furthering sustainable development. HAF supports Moroccan communities to take action in implementing human development initiatives. HAF promotes organic agriculture, women’s empowerment, youth development, education, and health. Since 2011, HAF has Consultancy Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
