Terri Hansen

Terri Hansen is an experienced environment and science journalist with a career spanning several decades. Current roles include Correspondent for YES! Magazine and Indian Country Today, Freelance Contributor for Earth Island Journal and Pacific Standard, and Editor for Mother Earth Journal, where responsibilities include creating web content and recruiting scientists. Hansen is also a contributor to High Country News and holds memberships in the Association of Health Care Journalists, Native American Journalists Association, and Society of Environmental Journalists, receiving various accolades throughout the career. Hansen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Portland State University from 1982 to 1988.
