Kareem Bawala

Kareem B. has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Kareem began their career as a Web Developer at Hubbard One in 2000 before moving on to ADEXS, Inc. MSDSonline.com as a Senior Software Engineer in 2001. From 2004 to 2008, they served as a Partner and Owner at Kalra Water. Kareem then joined Unicous Marketing, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer from 2008 to 2010. Kareem continued their career at Echo Global Logistics as a Senior Software Developer from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at HighGround, starting as a Consultant before progressing to roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and Data Architect. Since 2018, Kareem has been employed at High Definition Vehicle Insurance (HDVI), where they initially served as a Data Solutions Architect. Kareem was subsequently promoted to Director of Software Engineering and currently holds the position of Vice President of Software Engineering.

Kareem B. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University from 1999 to 2001. Kareem then went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Distributed Systems from the same university, studying from 2001 to 2003.
