Michael A.

Michael A. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael started their career in 2001 as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army, serving as a Combat Medic and Practical Nurse until 2005. Michael then joined High Desert Medical Group as a Case Manager from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, they reenlisted in the US Army as a Team Leader, ICU Nurse, and Combat Medic until 2009. Since 2009, Michael has been with High Desert Medical Group, holding various roles including Manager of the Case Management & Pre-operative Surgery Department, Clinical Research Manager, and Director of Complex & Transitional Care Management, among others. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Healthcare Management.

Michael A. completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, in 2002 to 2003, Michael A. attended the United States Army Academy of Health Sciences, specializing in Combat Medic and Licensed Practical Nursing. Michael also holds a CompTIA Project+ Certification, which was obtained in August 2017 from CompTIA.
