Torez Young

Torez Young is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Teens at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since January 2024, where responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and services. Alongside this role, Torez has been a Student Success Coach and Retention Specialist at High Point University since March 2023, aiding first-year students in their adjustment and connection to the university community. Previously, Torez was the Program Director for the JOSH HOWARD FOUNDATION, managing various operational and community engagement tasks while supporting student athletes. Additional experience includes coaching at Piedmont International University and serving in roles across organizations such as Yelp and The Law Offices of David Crawford. Torez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Winston-Salem State University and Grambling State University, and has pursued graduate studies in Educational Leadership and Administration.
