High School of Art and Design
Maximillian Re-Sugiura serves as the Principal of the High School of Art and Design since August 2019, leading a premier CTE Visual Arts institution in NYC with a commitment to nurturing 1500 aspiring professionals. Prior experience includes a decade at the NYC Department of Education, where Maximillian held the role of Assistant Principal of Administration overseeing various academic and support services, as well as teaching special education and global history. Early career experience includes operations management at American Apparel in the Northeast region. Educational credentials encompass a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brooklyn College, a Master of Education in Special Education from The City College of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
