Sky Mehringer

Sky Mehringer is a professional with extensive experience in international business expansion services, specialized in global HR and M&A. After more than a decade supporting investors, C-suite executives and entrepreneurs launch and expand their businesses in over 80 countries around the world, Sky understands what it takes to be operationally ready, locally compliant and positioned for success globally. It’s not a one-size fits all approach – doing business around the world requires cultural sensitivity, urgency, adaptability, and an understanding of the complexities and uniqueness of each jurisdiction.

Sky has led the roll-out and development of international HR services, consulted on and supported multiple, large-scale international M&A carve-out transactions, and served as a global program manager, overseeing the end-to-end process of entity setup through the establishment of ongoing back-office services, including global payroll, international accounting, and tax and legal compliance. Her specific expertise includes highly complex jurisdictions, including China, India, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France and the UAE. She has published articles on the various HR implications of the global pandemic, and the HR Director’s guide to the changing landscape in a post Covid-19 environment. In addition to her extensive international business experience, Sky has lived and traveled throughout the world, is fluent in Spanish, and has managed a hotel in Costa Rica.

Sky holds an MBA in International Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and a BA in International Affairs and Economics from the George Washington University. Prior to joining the founding team at HSP Group in its Miami office, her experience in the global expansion services market has included positions with High Street Partners (later a part of Vistra) and TMF Group.
