Matthew T. Hovey

Matthew T. Hovey is a seasoned municipal attorney currently serving as Solicitor for Spring City Borough and holding various assistant solicitor and counsel positions for multiple municipalities, including Pottstown Borough and Limerick Township, at High Swartz LLP since August 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew practiced municipal law and general civil litigation at Wolf, Baldwin and Associates, P.C. from September 2013 to August 2021, and gained experience at Prince Law Offices, P.C., Community Justice Project, and as a legal intern at the School District of Philadelphia and under Federal District Judge James M. Munley. Matthew earned a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Moravian University.
