Kristy Renken

Kristy Renken has extensive experience in human resources and finance, with a career spanning over 16 years in various leadership roles. At High Tech High from February 2008 to February 2022, Kristy served as Director of Human Resources, Director of Finance, and Payroll and Benefits Manager, overseeing payroll and benefits for 16 charter schools and a Graduate School of Education. Following this, Kristy held the position of Director of Human Resources at Vanguard Clinical, Inc. from February 2022 to April 2024. Earlier in the career, Kristy worked as a Payroll Specialist for the San Diego Unified School District, managing payroll for over 2,000 employees across five bargaining units. Kristy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management & Leadership from Franklin University in May 2023 and an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management from San Diego Mesa College in May 2008.
