Jamie Balkin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

From March 2023 onwards, Jamie has been serving as the Director of Business Development at High Trail. In this role, Jamie is responsible for building A++ Security Teams and supporting various security roles such as CISO, BISO, Director (Security Leadership), Application Security/Product Security, Cloud Security, Container Security, Penetration Testing, Blockchain Security, DFIR, Security Operations Engineering, IAM, GRC, DLP, OT Security, Vulnerability Management, Information Security, Security Consulting, Threat Intelligence, and Malware. High Trail specializes in building elite specialist technology teams for its clients.

From August 2022 to February 2023, Jamie worked as a Talent Manager at Volta Labs, Inc.

Jamie had a significant tenure at Real Staffing, where they held multiple roles. From August 2021 to August 2022, Jamie served as a Senior Executive Recruitment Consultant and Team Lead. From April 2020 to August 2022, Jamie was the Head of Real Staffing Austin - Direct-Hire Division, leading a team focused on direct-hire recruitment for the local ATX life sciences community. Jamie also held the positions of Executive Consultant, Principal Recruitment Consultant, Senior Recruitment Consultant, and Recruitment Consultant at Real Staffing.

Before joining Real Staffing, Jamie worked as an Account Coordinator at Heat and an Associate Marketing Manager at Arnold Worldwide in 2016. In 2015, Jamie worked in Marketing and Promotions at Boston Bruins and as a Content Marketing Intern at Lionbridge. Jamie also had a role in Global Sports Marketing at Performance Health Systems in 2014.

Jamie Balkin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Advertising, with a minor in Chinese (Mandarin) from Boston University. Additionally, Jamie Balkin obtained a certification in Sales from Kellogg Executive Education in 2020. Jamie Balkin also possesses a degree in Liberal Arts from Connecticut College, with a field of study in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
