Jolena Ashman

Jolena Ashman is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance at High Valley Transit since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jolena was an Accountant at Summit County Utah from February 2022 to January 2024 and worked at KLAS Research from 2006 to 2022 in various capacities, including transcription and extraction of medical research calls, and office management, successfully creating and managing a $700,000 budget while consistently coming in under budget for three consecutive years. Jolena has also contributed to the education sector, serving as a Lab Instructor for Brigham Young University's EMPA Decision Analysis class and as a Teaching Assistant for graduate courses in Quantitative Decision Analysis and Statistics. Jolena holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, both from Brigham Young University.
