Matthew Spencer

Matthew Spencer is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Higharc since July 2024, Spencer previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at The Vendry, where Matthew developed a premier platform for the event industry and implemented key operational frameworks. Prior to that, Spencer owned Brown Bear Technologies, a consulting firm that notably assisted Y Combinator-backed startups. Experience at Yext as a Senior Software Engineer involved leading a team to enhance CMS capabilities and deploying applications on the Google Play Store, while earlier roles at TapFury and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute further developed Spencer's expertise. Spencer holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
