Pradeep Sood

Pradeep Sood has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2007, they became the President and CEO of XactScribe Inc, a Canadian provider of transcription services. In 2008, they joined the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto as a Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, where they contributed to the strengthening of corporate governance in Canada.

In 2010, they became the CEO of Starling Corporation, gaining experience in the Canadian and Indian markets and providing business development support. In 2014, they took on the role of Co-Founder and Director at Highbury Canco Corporation, a leader in co-packing and third-party logistics.

Additionally, Sood has contributed to various organizations in leadership roles. Pradeep served as the President of the Board and a Member of the Board of Directors for the Commonwealth Games Foundation of Canada, supporting sports in Canada and throughout the Commonwealth. Pradeep also served as a Member of the Board of Governors for George Brown College and as a Director for Markham Stouffville Hospital and Skin Cancer Canada.

Furthermore, Sood was involved in philanthropic efforts. In 2016, they served as the Co-Chair for #BackFortMac, a fundraiser event for the victims of Fort McMurray.

In 2015 and 2016, they were a member of the Ontario's Highly Skilled Workforce Strategy Expert Panel, contributing to the development of an integrated approach for workforce development in Ontario.

Pradeep Sood began their education at Mayo College in Ajmer, where they attended from 1961 to 1969. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics (Honours) from the University of Delhi from 1970 to 1973. Following their undergraduate studies, Pradeep Sood enrolled in The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they earned a degree in Chartered Accountancy (CA) in 1978.
