David Gorman

David Gorman has an extensive career in military and defense systems, with significant experience in command and control systems, systems engineering, and naval operations. Currently serving as the Command and Control Systems Product Owner at Highbury Defense Group since October 2014, Gorman previously held the position of Sr. Systems Engineer at CGI following its acquisition of Stanley Associates. Gorman's naval career spanned over 24 years, including roles such as Captain in the US Navy and Assistant Chief of Staff for Plans and Policy at the US Third Fleet. Additional positions include Director of Information Operations at the US Second Fleet and Commanding Officer of Fleet Composite Squadron SIX, where Gorman led operations involving unmanned aerial and surface vehicles. Gorman's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University and an education from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by training at the U.S. Army War College.
