Kayla Wilson

Kayla Wilson is an Americorps Fellow working in Wards 6 and 8 at Higher Achievement. Kayla previously worked as the Treasurer for Thrift Me Pretty, where they prepared and facilitated the preparation of an annual budget, raised over $200 in fundraising, and developed and implemented a cash management system. Wilson also worked as a Program Specialist at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and as a Resident Advisor at East Carolina University Campus Living. In their role as a Resident Advisor, they served as the first point of contact for 15 residents and connected students in crisis with resources such as counseling. As a Youth Specialist at Operation Sunshine, they worked to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and flourishing community for residents.

Kayla Wilson has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from East Carolina University.
