Melissa Hedges

Melissa Hedges, PhD, serves as the Campus Division Coordinator for General Education at Higher Colleges of Technology since September 2013. Previously, Melissa was an English Teacher and Level 4 Leader at the Institute of Applied Technology from September 2010 to July 2013 and an Elementary Teacher at Evergreen Public Schools from September 2002 to June 2010. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership at Texas Tech University, Melissa also holds a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language and another Master's Degree in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, as well as a Professional Teaching Certification in Elementary Education from Washington State University. Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Montana.
