Barry Sorensen

Barry Sorensen is a relationship-focused commercial banker serving lower middle-market businesses (revenues $2 million up to $100 million). Barry specializes in financing and cash management services for Mergers & Acquisitions, equipment purchases, commercial real estate transactions, and working capital needs. He believes that a strong business environment supports a strong community. Barry has helped clients start a business, grow and protect their business, acquire other businesses, and transition their business to family members or position their business for sale. His expertise includes both conventional and SBA loan program financing. Highland Bank is an SBA “Preferred” Lender allowing us to approve SBA loans internally, greatly improving the loan approval time! He works diligently to provide customized solutions that are in the client’s best interests.

Barry holds a BA degree in Business and Finance from North Dakota State University. He enjoys spending Saturday’s golfing, fishing, hunting, hiking or at the lake.
