Martha Thomas

Martha Thomas has a diverse work experience starting from 2008. Martha began their career at Walmart as a Sales Floor Associate in September 2008 before moving on to Target, where they worked as a Sales Floor Team Member from February 2009 to September 2011. Martha then joined Citi Trends as a Sales Associate in December 2013, followed by Ross Stores, Inc. as a Sales Floor Team Member from February 2014 to August 2014.

In 2016, Martha transitioned into the medical field by becoming a Certified Medical Assistant as a student, a role that they held from January 2016 to April 2017. Martha then joined NORTHWEST LOUISIANA NEPHROLOGY, L.L.C. in April 2017 and worked there as a Certified Medical Assistant until November 2020. Martha later joined Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport in November 2020 and continued working as a Certified Medical Assistant until August 2021.

Martha's most recent work experience is with Highland Clinic, where they are currently employed as a Certified Medical Assistant starting in August 2021.

Martha Thomas has a diverse education history. Martha obtained a Diploma in General Studies from Fair Park High School in 2008. In 2011, they enrolled at Blue Cliff College-Shreveport and earned a Diploma in Cosmetology and Related Personal Grooming Services, completing their studies in 2013. After that, in 2016, Martha attended Virginia College-Baton Rouge, where they received a Certification as a Medical/Clinical Assistant, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in April 2017 from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Their most recent educational pursuit is at Bossier Parish Community College, where they are currently working towards an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, with an expected completion date in 2024.
