Everett Weiler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Everett began their career as a Goaltender Coach for the Plano West Lacrosse Club, where they excelled in strategy, game planning, and position-specific instruction.
Everett then moved on to work for the U.S. Department of Labor as a Wage Hour Investigator and later as a Wage Analyst. In these roles, they enforced labor standards and protected the welfare of the nation's workforce by ensuring compliance with various employment regulations.
Following their time at the U.S. Department of Labor, Everett joined Uber as a Senior Operations Manager. Everett played a crucial role in launching and growing markets in DFW, West Texas, and Missouri. Everett also managed a team and oversaw market and product launches, as well as paid marketing budget and conversion management.
Everett then transitioned to ofo, where they served as a General Manager. Everett successfully expanded the company's products into three Texas markets, managed a team of operators, collaborated with cities to establish responsible ordinances, and guided the business through real estate expansion.
After ofo, they joined Bird as a Regional General Manager, Director of Americas Operations, Senior Director of Americas Operations, and eventually Vice President of Global Operations. In these roles, they oversaw day-to-day operations, managed facility strategy and logistics, and had budgetary responsibilities for shared mobility markets in North America, the Caribbean, and LatAm.
Recently, Everett has been working as an Angel Investor, focusing on funding disruptive ventures in archaic industries. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in operations management, strategic planning, team leadership, and enforcing regulatory compliance.
Everett Weiler completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Policy Analysis from Southern Methodist University from 2003 to 2007. Everett then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Applied Economics from the same university from 2007 to 2009.
