Emma Martin

Emma Martin is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 5th Grade ICS Teacher at Highland Park ISD since September 2023, following experience as a student teacher for an 8th grade U.S. History class. Prior to this role, Emma worked as a substitute teacher and retail salesworker at Village Baking Co. from October 2022 to September 2023, where exceptional customer service was delivered in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, Emma interned at Fay Financial during the summer of 2023, collaborating with HR professionals to enhance employee training programs. Emma holds a Master of Education in Education/Teaching of Individuals in Secondary Special Education Programs from Southern Methodist University, where studies are expected to be completed in June 2024, and previously earned a BA and BEd in Secondary Education with a focus on History from the same institution in 2023. Emma's educational background also includes a high school diploma from Sage Hill School.
