Cynthia Medrano

Cynthia Medrano currently serves as the Adult Services Manager at Highland Park Public Library, beginning in June 2023, and also works as a Reading Guide Writer for Simon & Schuster since July 2019. Previous roles include Adult Services Librarian at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Learning Technologies and Collections Librarian at Parkland College, and Digital Services Librarian at Heartland Community College. Cynthia has experience as a Research Assistant and Library Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has held multiple positions related to library services and digital education. Cynthia holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from DePaul University.
