Benjamin Simmons

Benjamin Simmons is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and project coordination within various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Highland Plastics Inc. since February 2019, Benjamin focuses on long-term strategy and the expansion of the company while upholding its community-oriented values. Prior to this role, Benjamin was the Digital Access Project Coordinator at Haddington Citizens Advice Bureau, where responsibilities included project design and implementation to enhance citizens' access to technology in East Lothian. Additional roles include Development and Engagement Officer at Care Opinion, where Benjamin managed relationships with NHS organizations, and Client Manager at IBM United Kingdom Ltd., notable for being the first graduate to manage a sales territory. Benjamin holds a PhD in Usability Engineering and a Master of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Edinburgh.
