Shannon Upchurch King, PHR has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Shannon most recently served as the Director of Human Resources at Highlands Diversified Services since March 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Modern Distributors, where they worked as a Human Resource Director from November 2015 to February 2022 and as an Accounting Specialist from April 2014 to November 2015. Shannon's earlier experience includes a long tenure as a Business Manager at Commonwealth Journal from August 1999 to June 2012. With a background in HR and accounting, Shannon brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to their current role as a Director of Human Resources.
Shannon Upchurch King, PHR has a solid educational background with a focus on Organizational Leadership. Shannon obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Louisville, which they completed between the years 2017 and 2019. With a desire to further enhance their education, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from the University of Louisville, a program they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2024.
In addition to their academic credentials, Shannon Upchurch King, PHR has acquired several certifications to complement their expertise.
