Tanya Powers

Tanya Powers is the Associate Dean for BAS & Workforce Pathways at Highline College. Tanya has also worked as an adjunct professor at Antioch University, a instructional intern at Seattle University-School of Education, and a workforce educational advisor at Seattle Central Community College. In addition to their work in academia, Tanya has also served as a board member for Longhouse Media.

Tanya’s experience in both academia and the workforce gives their a unique perspective on higher education. Her passion for education and helping others reach their potential make their an excellent leader and advocate for students.

Tanya Powers has a doctorate in educational leadership from Seattle University, an associates of arts from Seattle Central College, and a degree from Antioch University Seattle.

Their manager is Paulette Lopez, Dean of Workforce.
