Ellie Daneshnia

Ellie Daneshnia is an experienced executive in capital planning and construction, currently serving as the Executive Director of Capital Planning & Construction at Highline Public Schools since February 2020. In this role, Ellie leads a $518 million capital improvement program, managing large-scale construction projects and engaging stakeholders effectively. Previously, Ellie held the position of Associate Executive Director at Highline Public Schools, where significant contributions included developing multi-year capital investment strategies. Prior experience includes project management at Vanir Construction Management, overseeing ADA compliance and infrastructure upgrades at Seattle City Light, and earlier roles in construction management and customer service. Ellie holds a Bachelor’s and multiple Master’s degrees from the University of Washington, with a focus on Civil & Environmental Engineering and Construction Management.
