David Peters

David Peters, MHA, serves as the Director of Facilities and Project Management at Highmark Health since May 2012, overseeing operations across Central and East Regions, including Central Pennsylvania, Northeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware, with a team of 20 direct and 45 indirect reports. Prior experience includes serving as Facilities Manager at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania, managing multiple operational departments and overseeing a $2 million budget. David has held various director positions in facilities management and safety across multiple healthcare organizations, including CHS/Berwick Hospital Center and CHS/Easton Hospital, while also gaining foundational skills during service as a Machinist's Mate in the U.S. Naval Reserve and U.S. Navy. David holds a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor's in Health Care Management from Misericordia University, complemented by a Technical Certificate in Biomedical Engineering Technology from Northwest Technical College.
