Mark Petzold

Mark Petzold is an accomplished sourcing and procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management. Currently serving as Manager of Strategic Sourcing at Highmark Health since July 2017, Mark successfully achieved 100% team retention and exceeded savings targets. Prior roles at Highmark Health include Senior Category Manager of Construction and Design and Category Manager of Equipment and Supplies, where Mark developed and implemented effective sourcing strategies. Mark's previous experience includes project management and supplier management roles at Accenture, as well as positions at HJ Heinz, American Campus Communities, and others. Mark holds a B.B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Eastern Michigan University and has a background in Chemical/Material Science Engineering from the University of Michigan.
