Anthony Kress

Anthony Kress, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Anthony is currently the VP of Finance, FP&A at NewRocket. Prior to this role, Anthony was the Director of Financial Reporting & Systems and later the Assistant Corporate Controller at JENNMAR, a billion-dollar global leader in roof control and industrial cutting solutions. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing financial planning, domestic and international operations, and leading a team of sixteen employees. Anthony successfully implemented ERP software solutions, improved efficiency in the monthly close process, and supported advisory firms in the valuation of a $100 million+ line of business divestiture. Anthony also reduced processing costs through the implementation of automated software solutions. Anthony began their career at Ernst & Young, where they gained experience as an Audit Manager, Audit Senior, and Audit Staff. Additionally, they had internships at Ernst & Young and EQT Corporation, where they developed analytical skills and assisted in tracking invoices and digitizing accounting records. Anthony Kress, CPA, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Law from Penn State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In 2021, they also received a certification in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
