Leo Fox has a long and varied work experience. Leo began their career in 1998 as an Application Developer for SOFtel Communications. In 2001, they moved to Diamax Information Systems as an Application Developer. In 2003, they took on the role of Independent Consultant and Programmer/Analyst for MSRB. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Systems Analyst for Paragon Technology Group and a Lead Developer for NHLBI. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Senior Consultant for BizFlow Corp. and a Software Architect for Highrise Consulting, Inc. In 2012, they founded CFI Technologies, Inc. to provide software development and business process automation services. Finally, in 2013, they became a Partner for EMRStream, designing and developing a software platform to receive, process, and analyze electronic health records.

Leo Fox attended the University of Maryland from 1999 to 2000, studying Computer Science. Leo then attended Northern Virginia Community College from 2008 to 2012. In December 2005, they obtained a Certified Enterprise Java Developer certification. In August 2022, they obtained a Registered Scrum Master™ certification from Agile Education by Scrum Inc.™.
