Alexander Puentes

Alexander Puentes, PMP®, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Alexander currently serves as the Head of Global Payroll and Program Manager at Hightekers, where they are responsible for overseeing payroll operations and managing a team. Previously, they worked at ADP as a Global Program Manager and Project Manager, leading software implementation projects. Prior to that, they were a Project Implementation Consultant at CloudPay, assisting multinational organizations in adopting HR and Payroll software. Alexander also held the position of HR and Payroll General Manager at Harmony, where they were responsible for various HR functions including compliance, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. Earlier in their career, they worked at Espamob as a Project Manager for European learning programs and mobility. Alexander also gained extensive experience in international consulting as the Business Operations Lead and Senior Talent Acquisition & Account Manager Consultant at IES Consulting. Alexander started their career as a Human Resources Generalist at ACCIONA.

Alexander Puentes, PMP®, has a Master's degree in Project Management from Universitat de Barcelona (2020-2021), where they studied leading, planning, and supervising global projects. Alexander also holds a postgraduate degree in Digital Marketing and Transformation from ESIC Business & Marketing School (2016-2017), focusing on digital economy, SEO SEM, digital analytics, eCommerce, WordPress, and network security.

In terms of human resources management, Alexander completed a Master's program at Foro Europeo (2007-2009), covering topics such as recruiting, contracts, collective bargaining, benefits, risks, and payroll. Alexander further specialized in labor law with a diploma from Sagardoy Business & Law School (2009), which covered aspects of payroll, trade union negotiation, collective bargaining, contracts, and legal and social security.

Alexander's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Communication from Universidad de La Sabana (2003-2007), which focused on internal and external corporate communication, internet, marketing, advertising, and media.

In addition to their educational background, Alexander holds certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute (obtained in December 2022), Registered Product Owner (RPO) from Scrum Inc., and Registered Scrum Master (RSM) from Scrum Inc.
