Adam Thurgood Cfa, Cfp®

Adam Thurgood, CFA, CFP®, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adam joined Hightower Advisors in 2012 as a Managing Director and Partner, where they focus on managing client portfolios and leading the team's research and investment process. Prior to that, Adam served as a Vice President of Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch from 2002 to 2012. Adam also served as an adjunct professor of Finance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas from 2009 to 2014, instructing finance students in courses on Portfolio Management and Investments. Additionally, Adam has been involved with various organizations, including the CFA Institute and Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, where they held volunteer roles and served on the board.

Adam Thurgood, CFA, CFP®, holds a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Management from Boston University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, completing their studies from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, they have obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2003 and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) certification from the CFP Board in August 2018.
