Jim Knoeck, CPA, CAIA, CIA has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Jim currently serves as the Executive Director of Internal Audit at Hightower Advisors since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Investment Operations at Kettera Strategies from 2016 to 2021.

From 2012 to 2016, Jim held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive at OCC, where they redesigned the entire audit function for the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. Before that, they were the Internal Audit Director at State of Wisconsin Investment Board in 2011 and the Director of Operational Risk & Control at Man Investments from 2006 to 2011.

Jim also worked as the Director and Chief Administrative Officer, North American Fixed Income at UBS Global Asset Management in 2005 and as the Chief Financial Officer at Norshield Investment Partners from 2003 to 2005. Jim started their career at Guggenheim Partners as a Director, overseeing accounting and back office operations.

Prior to that, Jim gained progressive Big-4 management experience at KPMG, focusing on financial services, and worked as an Experienced Staff Auditor at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where they conducted financial and compliance audits.

Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated their expertise in financial services, alternative investment products, and risk management, and has been involved in transformative projects and process improvements.

Jim Knoeck, CPA, CAIA, CIA completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993. Jim obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in August 1994. In September 2010, they acquired their Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification from the CAIA Association.
