Mike Evans

Mike Evans is a seasoned professional in transportation planning with extensive experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager and Stakeholder Manager in the Complex Infrastructure Programme at Highways England since June 2011, Mike has recently completed the Development Consent Order Examination for the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement Scheme. Prior to this role, Mike held various positions including Regional Transport Advisor and Acting Regional Director for the UK Government, where responsibilities encompassed directing transport policy for the East of England. Additionally, Mike's tenure includes significant contributions as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission, Technical Director at Mouchel (WSP), and Associate at MVA Asia Limited, highlighting expertise in transportation projects across Europe and Asia. Mike commenced a career in transportation planning as a Principal Traffic Engineer and Transport Analyst, underpinned by an MSc in Transportation Planning from the University of Leeds.
