Brian Leary

Brian Leary is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in real estate development and operations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Highwoods Properties since July 2019, Leary previously held significant roles including President of Commercial & Mixed Use at Crescent Communities, LLC and Managing Director at Jacoby Development, Inc. Leary also served as President & CEO of Atlanta Beltline, Inc., and Vice President at AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. Earlier career positions include Vice President - Design & Development at Atlantic Station, LLC, Associate at CRB Realty Associates, and an internship at HOK. Brian Leary holds a Master's degree in City Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
