Kotaro Yamazawa

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, joined the Bank of Japan in 1980. After obtaining an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States, he served as the Chief of the Personnel Division of the Personnel Bureau and the Manager of the Hakodate Branch, and since 2006 he has been appointed as an executive officer of the Osaka Securities Exchange (currently the Osaka Exchange). He has since served as Executive Executive Officer and Director. He was appointed Managing Executive Officer of Japan Exchange Group in 2013. After that, he became Senior Managing Executive Officer. He was appointed Vice President of the Osaka Exchange in 2015, retired in 2017, and is currently an outside director of AEON Financial Service, WingArc1st.

In 2018, he became an advisor to HiJoJo Partners. In 2020, he became an outside director of HiJoJo Partners.
