Grace Adams

Grace Adams has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of higher education and student services. Grace began their career as a Work Study and Orientation Leader at Hilbert College, where they supported the Director and Assistant Director of Residence Life with daily office tasks and responsibilities. Grace also served as a Resident Assistant, where they attended to resident needs, resolved conflicts, enforced the student code of conduct, and hosted programming for students. Additionally, they worked as a Peer Leader and Head Peer Leader, assisting freshmen students in acclimating to college life and organizing events for the Foundations Seminar team.

After their time at Hilbert College, Grace held various positions in other educational institutions, including serving as an Adult, Transfer, and Military Services & Registration and Records Graduate Intern at Baldwin Wallace University, where they provided assistance in scheduling, student evaluation for graduation, registration tasks, and event planning. Grace also worked as a Community Director at Springfield College and as an Area Coordinator at Elmira College, where they oversaw housing operations, supervised staff, and maintained residence halls.

Most recently, Grace has been employed at Hilbert College as the Interim Director of Residence Life and Community Standards, overseeing housing operations and student conduct within the campus community. Grace'sresponsibilities include programmatic initiatives, creating a positive living-learning community, and assessing residential housing needs. Grace has also served as the Director of Residence Life & Community Standards.

Throughout their career, Grace has demonstrated strong communication skills, attention to detail, and supervisory abilities. Grace has a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students.

Grace Adams completed a Master of Education (MAEd) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Baldwin Wallace University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Hilbert College, majoring in Human Services and minoring in Leadership Studies.
