Michael Goroff's work experience begins in 1993 when they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Safelite until 1996. Michael then worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at IBM Global Services in 1998 and as a Senior Financial Analyst at Sara Lee from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they served as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Case New Holland. In 2007, they became the Finance Manager - Merchandising at True Value Corporation until 2008. Since 2008, they have been associated with Hilco Valuation Services, LLC, where they worked as an Appraiser and later as the Senior Valuation Director. In these roles, they developed industrial inventory valuations for private equity firms, financial institutions, and corporate clients. Michael led multi-disciplinary project teams in the development of financial analysis models and conducted industry and competitive research for different valuation scenarios. Michael also developed and issued final reports and exhibits to clients, which were used for asset-based lending and collateral monitoring decisions.

Michael Goroff attended Niles North High School for an unknown period of time. Michael then went on to study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. Later, from 1999 to 2001, Michael pursued higher education at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Marketing.
