Christopher Chalk

Analogue IC Design Engineer at HiLight Semiconductor

Christopher Chalk has over 30 years of work experience in the field of engineering. Christopher began their career in 1987 as a Radio Engineer and Engineer at the BBC. In 1994, they moved to the University of Southampton, where they served as a Teaching Fellow and Research Fellow. In 1998, they joined NXP Semiconductors as an Analogue IC Design Engineer. In 2006, they became a Technical Staff Mixed Signal Design at STMicroelectronics. In 2008, they were promoted to Principal Analogue IC Design Engineer at SELEX Galileo Inc. Finally, in 2012, they joined HILIGHT Semiconductor Limited as an Analogue IC Design Engineer.

Christopher Chalk obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics with Electronics from the University of East Anglia between 1983 and 1986. Christopher then went on to pursue a Master of Science in electronics from the University of Southampton between 1993 and 1994. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Analogue Design & Test from the University of Southampton between 1994 and 1998.
