Blake Kotrla

Blake Kotrla serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Hill Country Studios since September 2020 and previously held the position of Contemporary Service Live Video Director at First Presbyterian Church Houston from June 2021 to December 2022. Kotrla has extensive experience in video production, having worked as a freelance Director of Photography, camera operator, and broadcast editor at Lakewood Church between September 2017 and June 2022. Noteworthy projects include working as a camera operator for Travis Scott's Astroworldfest in 2018 and as an esports PUBG observer for Mainline.gg. Kotrla's earlier roles include serving as the Assistant Student Manager and Videographer at Texas State University's LBJ Student Center Marketing, as well as positions in video production and IT support at various churches and organizations. Kotrla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Digital Media Innovations from Texas State University.
