Dorelle Wilson is a dedicated professional in the field of mental health and counseling, currently serving as a Counseling Intern at Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services since May 2023. With extensive experience at Children's of Alabama as a Behavioral Interventionist and Behavioral Associate since December 2020, Dorelle previously held roles including Solutions Advocate at Birmingham Anxiety and Trauma Therapy and Mental Health Technician at Hillcrest Behavioral Health Services. Academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Public Health Minor from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Montevallo. Research experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on caregiver social support resources. Dorelle has also contributed as a volunteer Behavioral Health Outpatient Aide at Children’s of Alabama, enhancing educational simulations for medical students.
