Fiona is an employment partner specialising in the health sector. She regularly advises the NHS, private providers, Royal Colleges, membership bodies, GP/dental practices on the full range of employment law issues.
Fiona most commonly advises at board level in relation to complex/high-profile matters which often given rise to reputational risk and need sensitive strategic solutions including managing associated press attention.
Fiona has significant experience of advising on and conducting advocacy successfully in high-value, complex employment litigation, particularly cases involving discrimination and whistleblowing. Fiona also regularly supports clients with complex change management situations such as redundancies, re-structures and TUPE transfers.
Fiona attended the University of Glasgow where she completed an Honours Law degree in Medical Law and Ethics and the Diploma in Legal Practice. Fiona qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2000 and in England/Wales in 2003.
