Engineering Management Director at Hill International

Eleftheria Aini has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Eleftheria started their career in 1997 as a Design Engineer at DYAS SA and then moved on to work as a Mechanical Design Engineer at TEAM ENGINEERING SA. At KLEMAT SA, they served as a Site Supervisor, overseeing electromechanical installations and managing on-site modifications and contracts.

In 2001, Eleftheria joined HM SA ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS as a Senior Designer, where they were responsible for planning and designing new Metro stations, shafts, and depots. Eleftheria also performed HVAC and Tunnel Ventilation design and coordination for various Athens Metro extensions.

From 2017 to 2019, Eleftheria worked as the Athens Metro Line 4 Tendering Coordinator at VCGP Hellas, leading the tendering phases for numerous stations, shafts, tunnels, and trains. Eleftheria then joined VIA SOTRA Group as the Lead M&E Design Manager, where they oversaw mechanical and electrical design operations.

Most recently, Eleftheria has been working at Hill International, Inc. in the role of Engineering Manager from 2022 to 2024, and then as the Engineering Management Director from 2024 onwards.

Throughout their career, Eleftheria has gained extensive experience in mechanical systems design, interface coordination, and review of designs at various levels. Eleftheria has also managed and coordinated Tunnel Ventilation Simulations as well as supervised engineering works and services.

Eleftheria Aini earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, which they attended from 1992 to 1997. Eleftheria also obtained additional certifications in "Safety in Design: Awareness and operational implementation" from VINCI Construction Grands Projets in 2017, and in "Revit MEP 2015 Intermediate" from Autodesk Authorized Training Center ATC in 2015.
