Roderick Blair

Roderick Blair has a strong background in contract management and commercial roles. Roderick began their career as a Quantity Surveyor at Balfour Beatty plc in August 1988 and worked there until June 1996. Following that, they joined Barr Construction as a Senior Commercial Manager in June 1996 and held that role until August 2014. Currently, they are the Head of Contracts Commercial at Hill International, Inc., a position they have held since August 2014.

Roderick Blair obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Economics & Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University between 1984 and 1988. Roderick then pursued a Master of Laws degree in Construction laws from Strathclyde Law School, from 2004 to 2006. Roderick continued their education at Strathclyde Law School, where they completed a Bachelor of Laws degree in Law from 2007 to 2011. Finally, they obtained a Pg Dip Diploma in Legal practice from Strathclyde Law School between 2011 and 2013. Additionally, Roderick Blair is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors as a RICS Surveyor, obtained in 1992.
