Thomas Cruz

Thomas Cruz has a diverse background in the healthcare and IT industries. Thomas started their career as an Emergency Medical Technician at Medix Ambulance Service from 1997 to 2000. Thomas then worked at South Coast Medical Center (now Mission Hospital) as a Psych-ER Tech Coordinator, Emergency Room Technician, and Admitting Representative from 1999 to 2006.

In 2006, Thomas joined Patient Care Technology Systems Limited as an Account Manager and Clinical Implementation Specialist until 2008. Thomas then worked at Desktop Computer Solutions as a Certified IT Professional from 2010 to 2017.

From 2011 to 2017, Thomas worked at MemorialCare in various roles, including Clinical Training Specialist from 2011 to 2014 and Clinical Applications Analyst from 2014 to 2017.

Most recently, Thomas has been working at Hill Physicians Medical Group as an Epic Ambulatory and MyChart Analyst since 2018.

Thomas Cruz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of Southern California. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including EpicCare Ambulatory Certified, MyChart Certified, Epic Badge - In Basket Configuration, CompTIA A+, and certifications in Emergency Medical Technician, CPR, Phlebotomy, EKG, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
