Joel Whitehouse

Joel Whitehouse has significant experience in finance and corporate development, working at various companies over the years. Joel started their career at Deloitte & Touche LLP as an Audit Manager before moving on to Old Mutual plc, where they served as a Corporate Finance Manager. Joel then joined HSBC Bank PLC as a Senior Finance Manager, overseeing financial planning and reporting for the Global Commercial Banking division. After that, they worked at Hill & Smith PLC, where they held several roles including Group Tax and Treasury Director and Group Head of Corporate Development. Joel'sresponsibilities at Hill & Smith included developing the group strategy, managing M&A transactions, driving operational performance, and evaluating acquisition opportunities. Throughout their career, Joel has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and stakeholder relationship management.

Joel Whitehouse attended Haybridge High School in Hagley from 1987 to 1992. Joel then went on to study at the University of Warwick from 1992 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics with First Class Honors. In terms of additional certifications, Joel obtained the FCSI certification from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment in 2001 and the FCA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales in 2010.
